Grow North: Powering World Leading Innovation

The North Shore is the second highest region in NZ for number of tech businesses. Find out the why, the who and the how on Thursday, 24 May, 6pm, at the B:Hive, Smales Farm.

There’s a well-established collection of innovative tech businesses located between Auckland’s North Shore and Whangarei. Businesses that are exporting their innovation globally. It's these businesses that have lead to an initiative to develop an Innovation District in Auckland’s Northern region.

Come and learn why this region is being tipped as the Silicon Valley of New Zealand by hearing from the businesses who are leading the charge.

The day will be broken up into four sessions:

  • Session 1: Early stage tech start-ups
  • Session 2: Tech businesses that are accelerating
  • Session 3: Well established global tech businesses
  • Session 4: Unfiltered Live Interview

You can choose to attend as many sessions as you like. There’ll also be innovation on display to demonstrate some of the ideas and tech that is powering the Grow North Innovation District.

The event will be held at the B:Hive – a new shared space and innovation hub at Smales Farm, 72 Taharoto Road in Takapuna.

This event is proudly hosted by Grow North Innovation District partners the B:Hive at Smales Farm, ecentre, Business North Harbour, Massey University, Shore Junction and Takapuna Beach Business Association's "Techapuna".
