Taste of Takapuna: Must-Try Dishes Promotion - T's and C's

  1. By participating in this Competition, you confirm that you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  2. The Promoter is the Takapuna Beach Business Association, trading as ‘I Love Takapuna’ (hereafter ‘TBBA’) located at 15 Huron Street (Level 2, Gallagher Insurance), Takapuna.
  3. The Competition is called “Taste of Takapuna: Must-Try Dishes Promotion”.
  4. The Promotional Period is 12.00am Wednesday 1 October 2025 to 11:59pm Friday 31 October 2025.
  5. The prizes will be drawn on or before Friday 7 October 2025 and winners will be notified by telephone and/or by email. If the winner(s) cannot be reached by email or telephone within three working days, the Promoter may redraw a new prize winner without liability to any person.
  6. Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
  7. To enter the Competition, you must complete the entry form and upload an image that meets the requirements
    • Photo upload requirements:
      • Photos must have been taken by the person submitting the photo, and the subject must be the specific dish the business has entered as their Must-Try Dish
      • Photos must be taken and entered to validate the entry
      • If there are any identifiable people in the images, the person submitting must have the appropriate permissions to enter the photo, and the people in the image consent to the promoter publishing the image.
      • Photos must not contain anything that can be deemed inappropriate for publishing. Photos that are deemed inappropriate will be immediately removed from the competition and considered invalid.
  8. Only one entry and one photo is permitted per person, per dish
    • i.e. if there are 26 dishes in total, one person is entitled to 26 entries, provided each entry is from a different participating business
  9. You must complete all required fields on the online form to successfully enter.
  10. Valid contact details including your full name, email address, and phone number must be provided at the time of entry to successfully enter.
  11. The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents only.
  12. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
  13. By entering the competition, you agree to share your entry information with the Promoter to be used for promotion administration, winner notification and email marketing purposes.
  14. The prize winner(s) agree to allow the Promoter to use the submitted photo for marketing and publicity use without compensation, as well as their full name for attributing photo credit.
  15. The Promoter agrees to keep all personal details obtained via the Promotion confidential.
  16. The Promoter agrees that such information may be used only by the Promoter after the Promotional Period.
  17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or misdirected entries. Entries must be submitted through the online entry form, in full, to be considered valid.
  18. The Promoter’s decision as to the winners is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into in relation to the conduct of the Promotion or otherwise.
  19. The prizes are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.
  20. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for a variation in the value of the prizes or the suitability of the prizes for its intended purpose and the winner accepts the prize on an ‘as is’ basis.
  21. The Promoter accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever that may arise in any way from the use of the prizes or the conduct of the promotion.
  22. The Promoter reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.
  23. This competition is intended to promote Takapuna to members of the general public and as such is closed to owners, managers, employees, and contractors of the TBBA. Entries from these groups will be invalid.
  24. Owners, managers, employees and participating businesses within Takapuna are permitted to enter the competition.
  25. Entry into the competition is deemed confirmation that the entrant has necessary authority to enter the Promotion.
  26. PRIZE INFORMATION:
    • First prize – $250 of vouchers to Takapuna hospitality businesses of the winners choice
      • The winner will receive vouchers to the value of their prize for a hospitality business of their choice within Takapuna, that is a current and full member of the TBBA, and does offer vouchers for purchase.
      • Voucher use will be subject to the individual business’s voucher terms and conditions.
      • Promoter and Sponsors take no responsibility for voucher loss, damage or expiration once given to the winner.
  27. Spot prizes:
    • Bonus vouchers to various Takapuna businesses may be awarded within the promotional period, at the Promoters discretion.
  28. The winner of the previous spot prize draws will be excluded from the subsequent prize draws, resulting in three different individual main prize winners.
