I Love Takapuna - Promotion Terms and Conditions:

  1. By participating in this Competition, you confirm that you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  2. The Promoter is the Takapuna Beach Business Association, trading as ‘I Love Takapuna’ (hereafter ‘TBBA’) located at Partners Life House; Level 3 BizDojo; 33-45 Hurstmere Road; Takapuna.
  3. The Sponsors are TBBA, House of Travel Takapuna, Trafalgar
  4. The Competition is called “I Love Takapuna – Shop & Win”.
  5. The Promotional Period is 12:01am Tuesday 1 June 2021 to 11:59pm Saturday 31 July 2021.
  6. The prizes will be drawn on before Wednesday 4 August 2021 and winners will be notified by telephone and/or by email. If the winner(s) cannot be reached by email or telephone within three working days, the Promoter may redraw a new prize winner without liability to any person.
  7. Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
  8. To enter the Competition, you must make a purchase of at least $20 at any participating retailer or business in Takapuna. Only one entry is permitted per transaction.
  9. You must complete all required fields on the online entry form to successfully enter.
  10. Valid contact details including your full name, email address, phone number and store of purchase must be provided at the time of entry to successfully enter.
  11. Proof of purchase must be kept by entrant and must be provided to the TBBA to redeem all prizes. Inability to produce proof of purchase will render the entry invalid and a new winner will be drawn.
  12. Entrants can enter numerous times using different entry cards. Each entry must be submitted separately using the unique entry code provided and each entry card must correspond to a different transaction with its own proof of purchase.
  13. The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents only.
  14. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
  15. By entering the competition, you agree to share your entry information with the Sponsors (TBBA, Trafalgar, House of Travel Takapuna) to be used for promotion administration, winner notification and email marketing purposes.

      • Any Personal Information that is provided will be collected by Trafalgar for the purpose of conducting the Competition and managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 (NZ) (as applicable) and Trafalgar’s Privacy Policy available at www.trafalgar.com/en-nz/resources/privacy-policy.
      • Trafalgar may disclose this Personal Information to its employees, contractors and agents to assist in operating the Competition or communicating with participants. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Trafalgar may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to Trafalgar.
  16. The prize winner(s) agree to allow the Promoter and Sponsors to photograph and film them and use their full name for marketing and publicity use without compensation.
  17. The Promoter agrees to keep all personal details obtained via the Promotion confidential.
  18. The Promoter agrees that such information may be used only by the Promoter and Sponsors after the Promotional Period.
  19. The Promoter and Sponsors accept no responsibility for late or misdirected entries. Entries must be submitted through the online entry form, in full, to be considered valid.
  20. The Promoter’s decision as to the winners is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into in relation to the conduct of the Promotion or otherwise.
  21. The prizes are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.
  22. The Promoter and Sponsors accept no responsibility for a variation in the value of the prizes or the suitability of the prizes for its intended purpose and the winner accepts the prize on an ‘as is’ basis.
  23. The Promoter and Sponsors accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever that may arise in any way from the use of the prizes or the conduct of the promotion.
  24. The Promoter reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.
  25. Competition is intended to promote Takapuna to members of the general public and as such is closed to owners, managers, employees, and contractors of the TBBA. Entries from these groups will be invalid.
  26. Owners, managers, employees and participating business within Takapuna are not permitted to enter with purchases or entry cards from their own businesses. They are permitted to enter if purchasing from a different participating business.
  27. Entry into the competition is deemed confirmation that the entrant has necessary authority to enter the Promotion.
  28. FIRST PRIZE: A guided holiday with Trafalgar, valued at up to $6,000 –
    • One (1) prize will be awarded to a legal resident of New Zealand:
      • A Trafalgar voucher valued at $6,000 NZD to be used on any Trafalgar tour (“Trafalgar Voucher”); and
    • The following terms and conditions apply to the Trafalgar Voucher:
      • The voucher must be used on a trip with departure dates in 2022 or 2023, based on space and availability
      • The last day of the winners’ holiday must be before 31 December 2023
      • The voucher may be split across multiple Trafalgar tours or used by multiple people on the one booking.
      • If the winner redeems their voucher on a trip that is valued at less than the $6,000 the remaining value will stay on file available for use until 31December 2023.
      • The voucher cannot be used on Optional Experiences, Single Supplement or any unscheduled meals.
      • The voucher cannot be redeemed on domestic or international flights.
      • The voucher is not eligible for elements of a trip that use a third-party supplier including cruise, rail, the Oberammergau Passion Play and internal flights.
      • The prize is not transferable or assignable, or redeemable for cash or any other consideration, and no substitutions will be allowed except by Trafalgar, which reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of equal or greater value or nature if advertised prize is not available.
      • The prize winner is responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations, including, without limitation, the payment of all applicable taxes.
      • The tour must be booked directly with Trafalgar at least forty-five (45) days in advance of the travel date.
      • Prize must be redeemed in accordance with Trafalgar’s booking terms and conditions
  29. Other prizes: FOUR individual shopping sprees in Takapuna business, up to the value of $1,000 each
    • The winner will have 1 hour to spend $1,000 in any business/s located in the Takapuna business improvement district, or that is a member of TBBA. (List of member businesses can be found here.)
    • The time and date for spending the prize shall be agreed upon when the winner is notified, but must be within one month from notification.
    • The CEO of the TBBA will be with the winner for the specified time and will purchase goods/services on behalf of the winner up to the prize value.
  30. Bonus prizes:
    • Bonus vouchers to various Takapuna businesses will be awarded within the promotional period, at the Promoters discretion.
  31. The winner of the previous draws will be excluded from the second prize draw, resulting in more than five different winners.
