Sunday, March 17th marks the 15th year that Florrie McGreal’s Irish Pub recognise one of the biggest worldwide celebrations, that being St Patrick’s Day.
The day starts off at 8.00 am with a special Irish menu which is available throughout the day. This includes most of the typical Irish pub favourites, with the traditional Irish breakfast, black pudding and all, being the most popular.
Live music commences at 10.00am and continues until late with performances from the Albi Duo, Celtic Craic, Pat for President and the Renegades.
Hailing from Kilkenny, Irishman Patrick Barcoe, General Manager of Florrie McGreal’s Irish Pub, says it’s “grand’ being from Ireland in New Zealand on this special day, but particularly pleasing to be personally involved in one of the biggest St Patrick’s Day events in Auckland.
