Creative Talks at The PumpHouse Theatre: David Veart

David Veart Local Historian and Author
David is a member of the Auckland Council’s Heritage Advisory Panel, a trustee of the Frank Sargeson Trust and the Rangitoto Island Historic Conservation Trust, a committee member of the Devonport Museum and a published author.
In 2008 Auckland University Press published David’s history of New Zealand cookery, First Catch Your Weka which went on to become a double finalist in the Montana Book of the Year awards.

David returns to The PumpHouse after his very popular local history talk last year with a new talk “History viewed Through The Kitchen Window”.
