The PumpHouse: My Brilliant Divorce

May 16th, 2024 - May 26th, 2024

This play centres around Angela, whose husband has run off with a younger woman, and whose teenage daughter moves out to live with a drummer in a band. This leaves Angela to cope with her dog, her disapproving Irish mother, and all the aftermath of middle-aged loneliness. Many diverse characters feature off-stage, supplying not always helpful advice, including Angela’s ex-husband, numerous helplines, lawyers and doctors, and even shop assistants. Angela will be brilliantly played by the marvellous, legendary Jackie Clarke. Don’t miss this gem of a play.
