Give coworking a go for $1 this June at BizDojo Takapuna
Inevitably when you read an article about shared-offices or coworking, it becomes a story about cost efficiencies, lease flexibility and the ability to scale up or down quickly and easily. But for local coworking and shared office provider BizDojo, the story has always been one of people and community.
This is why, for the month of June, national coworking and collaborative working providers BizDojo are inviting people curious about coworking or shared space the opportunity to try it themselves for just $1 right in the heart of Takapuna.
"We keep meeting locals who are entirely new to the idea of coworking and shared office space, so we thought instead of explaining what we do we can show them instead," says Bizdojo's Lachlan Sloan. "Experiencing what it is like to be amongst a community-minded group of business owners, with a team around you supporting you is really one of those things that you need to feel."
BizDojo Takapuna opened its doors to the folks of the North Shore just over a year ago, and in that time has become home to local business successes such as Fuel 50, and Part Pay alongside smaller operations, freelancers, contractors and one man bands. The organisation also hosts a range of business development, learning and networking events open to the public in their on-site venue. This mixture of business sizes and learning opportunities maximises learning opportunities for the people that call BizDojo home.
Sloan, says the team is excited to meet even more Takapuna locals during June with their $1 coworking campaign. "Like many coworking providers, BizDojo allows people to grab a desk or a more private studio space in an environment shared with other businesses, but, for us, the stuff we really care about is the goodness we layer on top of that".
With a focus on the people that call BizDojo home, the BizDojo team on the ground are all about supporting, connecting and upskilling their community of residents. With a range of business to business networking opportunities, drop-in sessions from visiting experts, learning programs and social events all designed to support companies and their founders to success.
