Alaska Tees Set to Disrupt the T-shirt Market

House of Augustine finally sets to release its new t-shirt concept

(AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND) – October 11, 2018

New Zealand House of Augustine is at it again, this time with a line that will allow customers to explore their style in the form of bespoke t-shirts.

Alaska Tees takes the bespoke experience to the tee shirt world in a bold way, giving shoppers the ability to customize high quality cotton tees down to the last detail, all for between $59- $89.

Purchasers go to the Alaska Tees website and select from one of the thirty-five shapes, choose a colour, style of tee, then choose a design from over a thousand exclusively created images by their Alaska Tees’ three graphic designers. Each change takes place on the screen instantaneously. Graphic tees, vintage tees, slogans sayings – endless options helping New Zealanders select their perfect look. Basically, no t-shirt will be the same! Once users select their tees online, the Alaska Tees team prints within hours and ships their shirts to them in just days. A new print will be released each day, so there will always be something new for consumers to buy.

Two years in the making, Alaska Tees is the brainchild of ‘House of Augustine’ co-founder (and unabashed t-shirt wearer) Nathan Coe. “It’s a shopping experience like no other. Currently in the market, there are such limited print selections in-store and online, we wanted to create a one stop t-shirt boutique that is a complete individual experience” says Coe.

Alaska Tees are launching online on October 11th with women’s tees, but Coe says the brand plans to expand to men’s and children’s tees in the coming months. The company also plans to open a brick-and-mortar Alaska Tees location in Mount Manganui opening on October 18th.
