Takapuna Beach Summer Days Festival 2023

Takapuna is your ultimate summer destination with the Takapuna Beach Summer Days Festival on Saturday 21st of January at Takapuna Beach Reserve.

This event is FREE and open to the whole community, so bring your friends, family, and loved ones along and celebrate summer with us.

Starting at 10am, bring the kids over and enjoy a wide variety of family entertainment and performances, to giant games, face painting, bouncy castles and beach activities!

From 3pm until 7pm, jam with amazing artists as they perform your favourite hits on stage – we are delighted to announce this year’s lineup of quality Kiwi musicians:

TOBIAS – former member of Katchafire, House of Shem and lead singer/guitarist for Sons of Zion. Tobias is set to rock the world once again with his debut single “One Love” released November 2020 and debut album followed shortly after. Pop, rock and roots infused with powerhouse vocals and melodical guitars, will be the sound of Tobias as he creates yet another legacy to last through the ages.

ENCORE – The ever-popular and cool sounds of Larry & Su’e with ENCORE, will be playing all your summertime favourites in the sun, with a bit of humour and fun along the way.

THE RENEGADES – This up-beat acoustic covers band has been roaming the music scene in Auckland for a while now. Frequently seen at local establishments and events, their sets include classics and favourites bound to get every single person up and dancing!

Dust off those jandals, grab some takeaways from the 100 different hospitality outlets in Takapuna, or the food trucks on site and get ready for a brilliant summers day.

The festival will also include delicious food trucks, free bean bags to relax in and of course our beautiful beach and reserve.
